The Supreme Court has categorically stated that a person cannot become the absolute owner of the property just by possessing the title deeds.<br \/>\nThe Supreme Court has said that the registration documents are only considered as an additional proof and that many more documents are required for the absolute ownership of the property.<br \/>\nWhat is required for absolute ownership? Mere registration documents are not enough to fully use a property or transfer it to someone else. On the contrary, it is the complete possession of all the documents related to that property that will recognize a person as the legal owner of that property.<br \/>\nRegistration details: Documents available with the local government office regarding the survey numbers of the property and in whose name the ownership of the particular property is registered.<br \/>\nSale details: If the property is being transferred by selling it, details of how much it is being sold (Sale Agreement).
